Secretary General |
The Secretary General’s office provides management services. This office is in charge of embassy accounting, personnel and other internal matters. As such, the office is in charge of hiring personnel not sent from the Foreign Ministry in Paris, including many Americans. This office also works in close cooperation with American authorities, in particular the State Department, in order to obtain the proper documents for all diplomats and staff members arriving in the United States (special drivers licenses and diplomatic plates, visas, etc.).
