Bastille Day at the Embassy

The Ambassador François Delattre welcomed French citizens to the Embassy to celebrate Bastille Day on July 14.

For many of them, this was the first time meeting the Ambassador who arrived in Washington, DC last February. In an atmosphere of "bal populaire", the guests could enjoy the "petits-fours", "macarons" and "canelés" prepared by the Chefs of the Ambassador’s Residence. But above all, the expatriates got a taste of home for an evening.
